My humble attempt to break out of the box and be a little creative. Colors were absolutely beautiful during this last week of October in Cleveland as I returned home for my mother's funeral. I love the way rain and overcast skies mute the fall colors and results in a beautiful richness. It rained quite heavily all morning, and I sat in my car gathering my thoughts and hoping the weather would break just enough to get out and shoot a little. Well, it became obvious that would not be possible, so I pulled out my camera anyway and shot several frames through the rain-soaked windshield hoping for something different. I kind of like the way this one turned out. I boosted the contrast and saturation only slightly. The colors appear to change if I stare too long, or maybe it's all in my head.
