The fourth in a series of rural cemeteries of southwest Ohio took me to Caesar Creek Cemetery in Warren County. The wooded setting and stone wall surrounding this burial ground at the end of an isolated lane provided a quaint and secluded setting that is more reminiscent of a New England landscape than Ohio. The gravestones needed some attention but the neatly manicured lawn gave that cared-for feel. This may be a nice place to return to when the autumn colors bring a new backdrop and the ticks have disappeared for the season.
